What MOQ Really Means in Ceramics

Minimum order quantity (MOQ) is the smallest volume a factory will produce per design. In ceramics, MOQ is not an arbitrary rule — it exists because each design requires mould making, glaze batching, kiln loading and decal preparation. Below a certain volume, the fixed setup cost makes the unit price unreasonable for both sides.

At INFINITE TOMATO, MOQ is negotiable depending on the product, and typically starts from 50–100 pieces per design. A simple existing shape with your logo will sit at the lower end; a brand-new moulded design needs enough volume to absorb the tooling cost. Tell us your target quantity and we will give you a realistic number and a clear price structure.

Production & Shipping Lead Times

StageTypical durationNotes
Sample productionBefore bulk runDepends on design complexity; required before mass production
Mass production15–30 daysDepends on order size and decoration method
Sea freight15–45 daysTo major ports in North America, Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia
Air freightExpeditedAvailable for urgent orders; higher cost per unit
Total typical order5–11 weeksSample + production + sea freight for a standard container order
Plan backwards. If you need goods on shelves for a holiday or seasonal campaign, subtract sea freight first (15–45 days), then production (15–30 days), then sample approval. That gives you the real deadline to place your order and confirm your sample.

Samples & Payment Milestones

🧪

Sample policy

Samples are provided for quality evaluation. Sample shipping cost is on the buyer, and the sample fee is refunded against your bulk order — so testing before committing costs you very little.

💳

Payment terms

We accept T/T bank transfer, L/C, Western Union and PayPal. Standard terms are 40% deposit to confirm the order and 60% balance before shipment.

📈

MOQ flexibility

MOQ is negotiable by product and design. Existing shapes and simple logo prints can go lower; custom moulds and complex decorations need higher volumes to amortise tooling.
